Greene admitted that the root cause of this space-time glitch is still unclear—it may be linked to Unreal Engine’s network synchronization, or it could be something else entirely. Resolving it, he said, is like running a marathon, not a sprint.

Another future direction for PUBG involves systems outside the core combat experience. Greene mentioned that the team is developing features like character leveling and ranking systems to increase player engagement. A formal ranking system is already in testing, aimed at giving players a sense of progression and deeper connection to their in-game avatars.

Though mod support remains uncertain, Greene expressed interest in allowing players to create new battlegrounds someday.
