Over the past few years, China’s mobile gaming industry has rapidly expanded its reach beyond domestic borders. Among the top-performing publishers is 37 Interactive Entertainment, which has seen remarkable growth across global markets since 2017. In the first three quarters alone, the company reported a net profit of 1.211 billion RMB, a 61.04% increase year-over-year, leading the A-share game sector in profitability.
Much of this success is driven by the consistent growth of its mobile publishing business. In the first half of the year, 37 Interactive earned 1.543 billion RMB from global mobile games, with 367 million RMB coming from overseas markets—an impressive 181% jump. To build on this momentum, the company prepared titles like Primal Wars: Dino Age and Lords of Conquest, aimed directly at Western audiences. These games were part of a broader effort to increase market share across Europe and North America.
One major success was Rings of Anarchy, the European version of Eternal Crusade, which achieved outstanding results in Turkey. The game reached number two on Turkey’s App Store and ranked seventh on Google Play’s revenue chart. As Turkey is considered one of the top 20 gaming markets globally, this milestone represented a key breakthrough for Chinese-developed games in Europe.
In Asia, Eternal Crusade continued to dominate. It topped the sales charts in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, and quickly climbed to number one in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. It also ranked second in Indonesia and Vietnam, and third in Thailand. Meanwhile, other games by 37 Interactive, such as Demon Seals, Immortal Saga, and Jade Dynasty, also secured top-three positions in various Southeast Asian markets.
South Korea proved another bright spot. Since launching in April, Eternal Crusade has consistently ranked in the top 10 on both the Google Play and App Store charts, with multiple appearances in the top five and even a peak at number three—marking the longest top-10 presence among Chinese games in Korea this year.
Domestically, 37 Interactive’s flagship title Eternal Crusade surpassed 3.7 billion RMB in revenue within just 18 months of its open beta. Another notable release, MU: Origin H5, earned global recognition from Newzoo for its outstanding performance on iOS revenue charts.
